Drupal Wins Best Overall 2008 Open Source CMS Award

For the second year in a row, Drupal - our favourite Content Management System - has been named Best Overall 2008 Open Source CMS by Packt Publishing in their yearly Open Source CMS Awards. Drupal beat out Joomla! and DotNetNuke for this top honour.

Dries Buytaert, founder of Drupal, had the following to say regarding the win in Pact's press release: "These awards are a testament to the valuable contributions from dedicated Drupal community members around the globe€: Working together, the Drupal community is building the future of the dynamic web so that anyone can quickly build great social publishing websites"€

We couldn'€™t agree more. Having explored the possibilities of other Open Source CMS platforms, Fuse settled on Drupal as our CMS of choice because of the impressive community of developers supporting the project as well as the virtually limitless potential of Drupal for creating dynamic and community driven websites. We are excited about Drupal'€™s overall direction and look forward to continuing to provide Drupal consulting to new and existing clients.

Congrats to Drupal and the active Drupal community for this award.
